Presbytery Point

The week of July 10 was full of God, high school kids, laughter, singing, tears, Braveheart, stargazing, swimming, great conversations, kitchen raids, old friends and new friends.  It's the one week out of the year where you never want it to end, when Friday comes everyone says it's bittersweet.  Over the course of the week I heard many people say, "this is like my second home," "I've made the best of friends here."  I think that's kind of amazing, how one week can make such a difference in peoples lives.
Since I am too old to be a camper anymore, I volunteered as a fill-in staff member for the week.  I have to say being on staff at The Point is even better than being a camper.  Here are only a few of the 500 plus photos I captured from the week.  Enjoy!

A Girl's Best Friend...

I have decided to start a new project.  My Grandma had a ton of jewelry, that I love, so I thought why not start photographing it.  Some of her jewelry I have taken for myself, mostly necklaces.  And I'm kind of surprised to say that she never had her ears pierced, so all of her amazing earrings are clip-on's.

Pieces of Home

Granted these are not from my house, but these two homes have been a huge part in my life along with the children in these photos.  These images carry timelessness and many personal memories.
